The design team's problem

From perspective to floor sample approval

Check the color, ground level and paving style before finalizing the material table. Changing one of these details after approval may result in editing the record.

The wood grain in the photo is beautiful, but it is difficult to find the code to order a sample

Compare the photo according to the code and then view the actual sample under construction lighting to check the color, opacity and board size.

A beautiful plan must pass the technical approval step

Use the parameter table of each code to check the level of use, thickness, ability to reduce impact noise and water resistance.

Changing materials close to the cut-off date affects the progress

Knowing which code requires confirmation of supply, accessories and warranty conditions before recording it on file.

Technology and inventions

Details at the edge of the board make a difference when installing

Quick-Step brings Unilin technology into each product configuration. Contrast the collection and construction instructions to see which features apply to the selected code.

Uniclic History at Unilin

Some Unilin technologies have licensing programs. Information from Unilin

Uniclic

Unilin filed a patent in 1997 and introduced the wort system under the Quick-Step brand. Can be assembled tilted or tapped horizontally according to instructions to handle difficult-to-reach positions under the door frame.

Frequently asked questions

Before finalizing the floor code

I only have reference photos, can I exchange them yet?

Yes. Send photos, slice locations and sample approval deadline. Wood tone, translucence, board size and paving span are the first criteria to define the floor code. Then use the real sample to approve the color and surface.

Can the same type of flooring be used for the whole project?

It is recommended to check each area. Rest rooms, lobbies and areas near water may require different usage levels, edge treatments and warranty conditions. Keep the same design language by contrasting patterns between areas.

What information is needed to confirm product source and origin?

Send code or list of models under consideration, expected volume, project location and required milestone. Compare supply, origin and shipment records by each code before placing an order.
