Uniclic, Quick-Step's glueless lock for laminate, vinyl and engineered wood floors
Uniclic is a glueless locking system developed and patented by Quick-Step, used for installation Laminate, Vinyl and engineered wood flooring is fast, sturdy and requires no specialized tools. The seam holds the boards together, helping to limit joint openings, abrasion and moisture leakage.
What problem did Quick-Step develop Uniclic to solve?
Before Uniclic, floor installation was slow and uncertain. Glue needs time to dry. Boards may move during installation. And small mistakes often cause problems later. We designed Uniclic to change that. The
Our mechanical locking system helps you:
- Faster installation
- locks tighter
- Last long
- reduces installation errors
- strengthens all joints
- enhances water resistance
Uniclic is currently considered a reference standard for floor locks.
How to install the floor using Uniclic locking joints
Insert the edge of the board into the groove of the next panel at an angle and then lower it to lock. When there isn't enough room to tilt the panels, such as under a door frame or radiator, you can join two panels horizontally.
- Angling means you raise the board a little and lower it into the right position.
- Horizontal shooting means you'll click on the boards while they're still flat on the ground, which is great when you don't have the space to lift them up.

Characteristics of Uniclic wort
1. Soft lower lip
Flexible lower lip and strong tongue allow boards to join together without damage. Even small variations in manufacturing or installation are hidden, so your floors still look the same. It makes installation easier and gives you more tolerance for minor imperfections.
2 – Recommended
Uniclic seam holds the boards tightly together, making the joints watertight. This is a useful feature in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and other frequently used places.
3 – Anti-Creak
The seam design helps limit movement between boards, thereby reducing creaking noise when walking.
