How to cover stairs with Quick-Step engineered wood flooring

Stairs can be covered with Quick-Step engineered wood flooring with Incizo brace and aluminum base bar. This method applies to steps with straight edges. Rounded steps need another solution.

Stair steps

  1. Glue and screw the aluminum base bar to the step nose.
  2. Cut wooden planks to the size of the step neck and glue keo Quick-Step One4All . Use wedges to leave space below for the tread board.
  3. Apply glue to the step surface and spread evenly on the base bar.
  4. Place the wooden plank on the tread so that the underside of the tongue rests against the front edge of the base.
  5. Attach the included white, blue or black plastic strip to the wort tongue.
  6. Apply glue to both sides of the Incizo base bar.
  7. Press the Incizo brace onto the base bar.

Wait for the glue to dry for 24 hours before using the stairs.
