How to join two different types of floors
If the wood floor is adjacent to tile, carpet or laminate floor, use transition braces and install according to the three steps below.
- Choose the brace position and cut the base bar to the correct length. Test the base and then use a short piece of splint to align it in the correct position.
- Fix the base bar to the floor with screws. Use an Incizo cutter to adjust the splint to the required connection type, then smooth the cut edge.
- When paving to the splint, leave 8–10 mm between the edge of the board and the base bar to allow the board to expand and contract with moisture. Then tile the remaining floor.
- Finally, Click on The Incizo brace On the base to complete the installation.
To complete the job, you need an Incizo Quick-Step profile and a saw.
