How to finish the edge of a water-resistant laminate floor
If you have carefully followed the installation instructions, you should have some space left between the laminate and the wall. This will help the wood panels contract and expand as humidity changes.
- Insert into the gap between the wall and the edge of the flat floor foam strip.
- Use a glue gun to coat the foam strip with silicone Hydrokit.
- Smooth the silicone layer evenly with your fingers.
- Your settings wall skirting with corresponding Hydrostrip (see our video "How to install floorboards”).
