If you have laminate flooring, you must remove all floor coverings first.
Important:
- No signs of mold and/or insect infestation.
- The lower floor must be flat, if the floor surface is greater than 4 mm over a length of 2 meters, it must be smoothed, if the roughness is greater than 1 mm over 20 cm, the same is true. This regulation does not apply to national standards on leveling.
- Nail loose parts.
- Always use Quick-Step underlayment (including moisture barrier membrane on mineral floors).
If you have one uneven wood flooring, you need to install Quick-Step Thermolevel Thermolevel. There must also be enough moisture in the sliding space under the wooden floor. The moisture content of wood must not exceed 10%. Install the new floor at nineteen degrees above the existing lower floor.
